Where

THE FIRST EVER DREAM PALACE symposium will take place this year in the Neoclassical mansion – Zappeion – a unique and grand building surrounded by tranquil gardens in the heart of central Athens.

Other venues include the beautiful, open-air cinema – Cine Trianon – and partner venues on the street named after dream-healer god Asklepios – Asklipiou in Athens, Greece.

These sacred spaces will serve as portals to both the Underworld of dreams, and the realms of celestial, dream-delivering gods. We will be joined by many speakers, workshops hosts, artists and musicians in Athens for the symposium – which will combine a conference with workshops, deep-listening concerts, social dreaming matrices, parties and cultural tours.

The Zappeion’s imposing peristyle hall, perfectly mirrors the ancient Thymele (round altar or tholos) that sits at the heart of the Sanctuary of Asklepios in Epidavros. It is below here, in the chthonic basement, that Asklepios, the god of regeneration and the dream cure, has his throne. Beginning this September all participating dreamers will be invited
to the preparatory virtual dream-seeding sessions. For this we have curated a full
online programme of presentations, workshops and social dreaming experiments
to encourage collective dreaming. By being involved in our inaugural event this year,
you will have the opportunity to participate in the full creative realisation
of the DREAM PALACE project as it develops over time

When

The in person event is 27th to 30th of October 2023. Beginning this September all participating dreamers will be invited to the preparatory virtual dream-seeding sessions. For this we have curated a full online programme of presentations, workshops and social dreaming experiments
to encourage collective dreaming. By being involved in our inaugural event this year, you will have the opportunity to participate in the full creative realisation
